YOUTH EMPOWERMENT IN RENEWABLE ENERGY TECHNOLOGY
Siman Engineering Limited Youth in Renewable Energy Advocacy Programme (YinREAP)
was established with the resolve towards developing the psyche of our Youths for effective
environmental management. The programme with the Maxim Catch Them Young is to
provide students with the knowledge of Climate Change and Environmental Education.
The objectives of the YinREAP are listed below:
- To reduce the effects of Climate Change on the environment
- To promote climate change adaptation and mitigation measures
- To reduce environmental pollution and save the earth
- To beautify and make learning environment very friendly
- To maintain a high level of sanitation enforcement and encourage good hygiene amongst pupils and students
- To make pupils and students Agents of Change on the environment
- To promote a Green Culture in Nigeria by planting and replanting of trees
- To promote efficient and sustainable waste management practices
- To encourage the reduction, reuse and recycling of waste
- To propagate proper waste sorting practices
- To deeply, implement and sustain Renewable Energy Technology
