GREENVILLE HOUSING PROJECT

SEL has identified the growing need for affordable housing through direct investment and
involvement in the development of low and medium cost housing schemes. The
overcrowding in neighbourhoods and communities has caused an increase in the pressure
on infrastructural facilities and a rapidly deteriorating environment.
Our primary aim is to make home ownership easy and affordable for everybody anywhere in
Nigeria. We intend to begin a social re-engineering strategy geared towards achieving a
“Home for All by Year 2020”. The plan is to develop decent and affordable housing units in
a well planned laid out “Green” Housing Estate for millions of Nigerians. The housing units
will be sold through staff housing/welfare schemes or the Nigeria Social Housing Loan
Scheme (National Housing Fund (NHF) or on cash and carry basis.
We have conceived a cost effective and fast method of construction, using prefabricated
building components. Our GREENVILLE Estate Project is targeted to provide a natural green
environment, with mature trees and green areas, while also employing the use of
Renewable Energy Technology such as Solar/Wind, Waste to Wealth Integrated Energy
Systems and DC appliances to supplement power from public utility in the illumination of
houses, water production/reticulation and street lighting.
The socio-cultural, economic impact of this project cannot be overemphasized as it will
create avenues for direct and indirect opportunities for the unemployed.
